We’re launching a new mobile app for iOS and Android called GotCGM. It’s a companion app for your Libre Freestyle 2, 2+, 3, or 3+ or your Dexcom G6, G7, or One CGM. It can also work with any CGM system that can upload its readings to a Nightscout-compatible API. (It is currently not compatible with Stelo by Dexcom or Lingo by Abbott sensors.)
Here’s a quick look at the new app through the eyes of our GotCGM mascot, Millie:
GotCGM lets you see your CGM values on all of the places you want to see them!
For Android, that means:
- your WearOS Watch (with digital and analog watch faces we provide or with many other watchfaces via our complication support);
- widgets on your home screen and (for compatible phones) lock screen;
- notifications and the top notification bar; and
- your calendar (for your lock screen or other watches that can show your current event).
For iOS, that means:
- your Apple Watch (updated frequently, unlike other solutions)
- widgets on the phone home and lock screens
- Live Activities in the Dynamic Island and Lock screen
- your current calendar event, and
- CarPlay (via Live Activities and the calendar integration).
On iOS, GotCGM also optionally writes your CGM values into Apple HealthKit in real-time as an experimental feature included at no additional cost.
GotCGM is now available in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia. We’re making it available at no charge until February 2, 2026. After that it will be available as an annual subscription with a base price of: US $17.99/year, UK £17.99/year, Canada CA$24.99/year, Australia AU$24.99/year.
GotCGM is powered by Gluroo which has been downloaded over 250,000 times! Over the last five years, many of you have asked how you can support Gluroo financially. This is the first opportunity to do that whether or not you want to also use Gluroo. But more importantly, we can use your help spreading the word about GotCGM. Just share this URL for people who want to see their CGM values everywhere they like to look:
Thanks for your support!
